Sorry, another background image question

I am still confused on this, as I do not know how write the CSS line/s.

I understand how this can give me the needed results, but this is not explaining to me how I need to exactly write each and every character of these lines. I know my URLs, but if I do not have the exact CSS lines to copy and paste, then I am lost. And so I still do not know how to make this happen.

And I’m really confused as well about the “name”. Why does it need a name and what to name it? This is getting far away from drag and drop and WYSIWYG and being Mac like.

Still trying to figure this out and I have been stuck at this point for the last two days.

Thanks for any and all help,

Robert

You asked for instructions to copy and paste some code. That code is to be seen above. (Unfortunately with a small mistake sorry about that, I’m only human, but thanks to the correction from Walter it’s all right now)
The only thing you have to do is to replace the part after www in this piece: url(http://www.yourserver/path-to-image) There is nothing more to it.
You wonder why you need ‘name’ . Well, that is a part of the CSS you are about to handcode. I understand you want to know why. I myself also want to know why things work the way they do. Please have a look at http://www.w3schools.com/ there are some basics and tutorials.
