Is there a way to have a sound effect upon rollover??? I have menu items
that high light whenever the cursor is on them and I would like to have a
sound effect to coincide with the rollover effect.
If this is NOT available it should be added immediately.
You can try adding the SoundFX Action to your elements, that’s been in there quite a few years 8-). Just remember, the sound file must be minuscule in file size, and should be in WAV format for the widest browser support. There is no way to preload the sound effect, so the first time it plays, it has to download. This may cause a little lag the first time it happens.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed if I add sound effects to rollovers and
then added the background sound action to the page, the sound effects for
the rollovers get cancelled. Why is that?

I’m not adding the sound effects to every link, just key elements.

Yeah … and let’s start supporting flash as well, back to web design in the 90’s …
That’s exactly why I -by default- have sound turned off while browsing.
