It was always amazing watching people’s faces when demoing Freeway’s graphics abilities. Just simply merging two images to make one was more than people could handle - not using Photoshop to do this caused a few brains to melt. The whole slicing things up, as Walter described, was incredible to some, especially as you could go back to Freeway, reposition the images, and they would be re-sliced with no further intervention. To some, this was a welcome revelation, to others it was some kind of witchcraft that should be burned.
