Standard box model construction - info

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial (apart from d jasker download which is no longer available) about creating content as a standard box model construction.

Alternatively supply an example freeway pro file which I can take apart. I want footer elements to move down the page when more content is added above to the main panel of the page. Please Send files to email@hidden

Thank for any help

Martin

Oops didn’t realise the thread would hide email.

Let me know how to make contact and I’ll send email.

Thanks

Click on the My Account tab in the left-hand navigation, scroll down to Contact Info and add your e-mail address there.

If you want it to be clickable, use the following syntax: mailto:the_address_with_at_sign and other members will see a clickable link to send e-mail to you when they visit your profile page on the FreewayTalk site.

On any post you (or anyone) has ever made, there is a link from the poster’s name to their profile page. This page only appears to other registered members, so you’re reasonably secure from 'bots. On that page you will see member since date, the bio (which appears as your footer on every message), whatever you put in your contact info field, and your list memberships and posts summary. There’s even a clickable link to see all of your posts (this is simply leveraging the fabulous Sphinx search engine).

Hi Walter,

Email address updated under contact details, - if you have any demo files/ tutorials ect. on earlier request (inline standard box model construction which would move footer info down when main content is added) that would be great.

Cheers,

Martin,

… inline standard box model is such standard then “drinking makes you drunk”. The best to tackle had been really Dan’s screener (my basic learn place) - and hundreds of try-outs and testings.

Up to my experience, a “template” is only showing that there are “box in box” - but not the way how it had been built, resulting comments like:

“I can see what you did but do not know how you did…”

Some of the inline techniques I show in two marginal screencasts (not the entire technique so do not expect to much) on my page (no 4+6):

http://www.kimmich-dm.de/screencasts.php

I personally do not know if Dan is once a day back and if, not sure how. I once received an email (newsletter) of him that said something about "want to create a collecting page of entire available freeway resources - free, paid, actions, multilingual …) so I decided not to dig to much in his territory.

And on the other hand, and please do not see this personal:

You demand on sending you as much as possible … ? I could send you my bank account number … Doing voluntary stuff is time-consuming, even if it is writing some lines not to talk about producing a screencast or sample-files.

Cheers

Thomas

Thomas,

Softpress Support have often suggested this forum to me.

After looking through various threads I’ve noted on occasion there’s been references to working/sample files and tutorials etc. and my requests have been with a view to this type of resource - I have never ‘demanded’ anything.

I’m working to tight commercial deadlines to find a professional solution for a client and at the moment there’s an issue holding things back and hence my effort to seek more information.

Thanks for your help, but please leave the patronising stuff out.

Martin
