# Strange Preview?

I am not sure what caused, but it only happens on this particular page? I wish I had an option to see the code on every page.
Since I am in the Preview subject, wish Freeway would get rid of Inspector and Actions boxes when previewing, what is the point of seeing empty boxes, they only get on the way.

This is usually caused by trying to preview a page that ends with .php instead of html.

Many versions ago Safari/Webkit used to render PHP files pretty well
(it would just render the PHP as text in the page) and then they went
and changed it so that local PHP files like this render as text.
Assuming there is something Softpress could do with the WebKit control
I’d love to see previews come back for these files. My number one wish
would be to have the PHP rendered ‘live’ in the preview followed by a
crafty regular expression or two that simply filters out the PHP when
the pages are previewed in Freeway.
