strange roll-over problem

Hi all

A strange roll over problem that I never before had.

When you go to the site you see some roll-overs. They work fine as they are. When you click them you go to another page. When you hit the “Terug naar de hoofdpagina!” (back to startpage) everything works fine, but when you hit the browsers “previous page” button, the page shows the mouseover image instead of the default image. Not acceptable for my client.

I guess it has something to do with the browser cache.

Anybody a sollution?

This is because browsers don’t store the link to “Back”, they store the actual page you were on in a cache. When you press the back button, that page is replaced with the cache of the page as you last saw it. Depending on the browser, this may mean that the button appears to be swapped, because that’s how you left it. Naturally, when you link back to the page you were previously on, the page is reloaded. You’ll have to explain to your client that this is just how browsers work when they use the back button. It’s nothing you did wrong.
