Stretching HTML object full width

The 1 pixel gap between the Cssmenu should pixelmatch the background image with red/blue lines.

You are over complicating this.

The menu will sit on top of the lines no matter which way you do it.

All it takes for your visitor to have his default font size set to something other than standard (or be using a different OS or Browser) and your carefully crafted 1px gap is blown apart. This is the Web, not print, dont waste your time.

That’s correct that the menu is on top. But 75 pixels distance from top
stays 75 pixels, in all major browsers. So most accurate is my first
option, the 2 px line on top, it covers the small 1 px gap.
But your option is my solution to show correct screenwidth on an iPad. I
prefer that. Now only trying to make the gap between menu and submenu 2
pixels wide…
