styles don't publish

I have just added two new styles to a style sheet but no matter what I do they do not publish into the style sheet. The site is set up to publish to external style sheets. I have even tried deleting the style sheet from the css folder and re-publishing but still the two new styles don’t appear in the sheet.

For reference the two new styles are for the WebYep Gallery element and are named:

.WebYepGalleryContainer and .WebYepGalleryText

Currently the only way I can get them into the style sheet is to edit it and type them in.

Anyone know what I couyld be doing wrong or missing?

TIA
Richard

Are the styles actually applied to anything in the FW file? If not then that’s a good place to start looking. Creating the styles is only part of the process. Create a “styles” page or whatever and apply the styles to some text then publish. They’ll be added.

Hi Todd,
I have been following Max’s example of a test gallery the files of which Max made available. In his example only a border style is applied to an actual element, yet the “.WebYep…” styles are all saved with the style sheet. None of the WebYep styles are actually applied to anything - yet his works and mine don’t. I tried applying the styles to the WebYep gallery element but it will only let me apply one or the other not both.

Update.
I have just created a blank page with two html items on it and applied the styles one to each of the html items. I then published and the styles are now there. What I don’t get is how Max’s example works without doing this.

Inline WebYep objects must have a space on either side for any styling to take place.

I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean as the WebYep Gallery action was just inserted, drawn and positioned directly onto the page and not inside an html item.
