Styling background colour

Is there a way round this somewhat unsatisfactory looking style.

I have [Character/Background] set in the styles, but part of it I want in a
smaller type size, therefore the background [edge] steps down when smaller
and up when bigger.

Is there a way using CSS in the extended to force an even line.

You could try nesting your text div inside another div. Then you could style the parent background instead of the text background.

Hi Peter,
Remove the background colour from style29 which will leave just the H2 with the background colour.
Regards,
Tim.
