submit order

Is there anyway for the image of an item that a customer orders, to show up on the order form that is submitted from a website?

Also, can I have all orders e-maild to me/company e-mail address? Does Pay Pal all ready do this?

Usually this is handled by a shopping cart first (Mal’s etc) and PayPal only confirm payment.

I think it would/could be server intensive to display pictures of every item in a cart on the order form. If you have pictures on your shopping page with related text surely that would be sufficient for the customer to make sure that they were buying the right thing.

Ashleigh, do you want images for customer confidence - or so that you
can recognise the product ordered? In the first case you could make a
product image the “Buy” button (overlay lay the word on the image). In
the second case just make sure that every product has an easily
identified catalogue number in its name and clearly label your stock.

Thanks for the help!

Colin,
I would like the image on the order form, so that one I receive it, I will know exactly what they ordered. Also becasue some of the orders have two parts to it.

I don’t think what you want is easily achieved, though I am sure there
is someone who’ll know a way - probably expensive in time and/or money!

In the meantime, similar to what I said before, if you give all your
products a clear catalogue number and keep a set of images marked with
the relevant numbers, you should be able keep your orders straight.

Surely this is down to how you describe the item and as Colin suggests the part number.

If your order form says blue widgets part no 0001 then surely there can be no doubt what was ordered.

If you cannot distinguish differing orders from this sort of information how can you expect your customers to.
