Yes, it’s quite possible. You need to layer everything properly and I suggest making your graphics .pngs so you don’t get any funky shadows/borders.
Obviously keep the color of the tabs and main field the same colors so they blend.
Good luck and don’t give up, I spent quite a bit of time playing around to get it to look right, but it certainly can be done in FW.
