tab question

I am working on a page that I want to do tabs and info pops up.

I used Walters example from 2010.

http://grassrootsweb.net/sans2/untitled1.html

It works but the headers are showing vertical not horizontal. How can i fix this…

Thank you.

You need to create a style for your tab elements, which are h2 tags, and set the following through Extended:

  • Name: display
  • Value: inline

H2 tags are by default display:block, so they always take up an entire line.

Walter,

that (of course ) solved the problem.
I have 2 more questions… please and thank you.

  1. how can I put dividers between the words so that people know they are tabs.

  2. also how can I keep it behind the zoom pop up. I would love to have the words / tabs next to the pix to keep the page short etc… but when I zoom the picture - the zoom field pops underneath it.

Thank you again,

Julie

Use the Extended sub-dialog in the Edit Style dialog to add border-right to each of the h2 tags in that element, and then use border-left on the parent container to make the first line appear at the left.

Try using Send to Back to move it backward in the sorting order.
