how can I put dividers between the words so that people know they are tabs.
also how can I keep it behind the zoom pop up. I would love to have the words / tabs next to the pix to keep the page short etc… but when I zoom the picture - the zoom field pops underneath it.

Use the Extended sub-dialog in the Edit Style dialog to add border-right to each of the h2 tags in that element, and then use border-left on the parent container to make the first line appear at the left.

Try using Send to Back to move it backward in the sorting order.
