Tables CSS Styling

I like using tables for tabular data and I have never used anything else but a td tag for styling. FW displays my padding, colors, borders etc. quite nicely. Now I want to move beyond the td tag and style some columns, headings and alternate rows but when I apply tags like th, tr, td.alt I have no luck.

Anybody with more experience in this that can point me in the right direction.

Much appreciated, Marcel

Here is an old tutorial on using a script to create “sortable” tables. What
you may find interesting is the dissection of data table structure, proper
table syntax, and its implementation in Freeway Pro.

I apologise for the ancient-ness of the example, but the techniques I
believe still apply. I continue to hope that Freeway will one day be able to
easily create rich and proper data tables in addition to structural tables.

Ernie, thanks for the link, I will be checking it it out later this evening. I also found the TableBars action, it streamlines the process of selecting background colors for alternating rows.

Cheers, Marcel
