Character styles: The image above has character styles (to define two different colours/styles etc within an overall paragraph style. Is there a correct way of doing this in Freeway? I’ve just been manually changing each word etc - this creates a new style in the styles palette, which seems quite clumsy.
This looks like something you could set up using the “hanging indent” trick. Make a new paragraph style with a left indent of 3em or so, and a first-line indent of the same amount as a negative number. That will hang the first line out to the left. The color thing can be managed by making a new “partial” style that only has instructions for a different text color–no font, size, or any other settings–and applying that style to only the words you want to change.
That’s going to look about 80% right, I’m afraid. The last 20 will be a sheer cliff-face in Freeway, since you can’t apply class styles directly to lists and list items. And it would involve setting up a style with custom bullet images for questions and answers, then using a classname to indicate which was which.
