Target Show/Hide layer fade 'speed' more adjustable?

My clients seems to complain the the fade effect of 0,5 is too slow… putting the setting lower than 0,5 doesn’t seem to make any difference.
I am aware that the action is not perfect. Fiddling around sometimes to get it work, but I still would like to use it though…

Hi Paul,

It strikes me that you are using commas in the number which aren’t
supported in the HTML that’s used to handle the fading. Could you try
entering 0.5 instead of 0,5 to see if that makes a difference, if not
try 1 to see if that’s any faster (0,5 may be interpreted as 5 or
something slower). Judging by your name I’m guessing that your machine
is set to European number formatting meaning that it is automatically
converting numbers from periods/full-stops to commas.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi Joe, actually I tried commas and periods; I noticed that FW was not consistent. Default setting of the action is 0.5 actually.
I tried ‘1’ as well - not much difference.

Indeed… very European FW I got

I also wondered if we could make those kind of changes ourselves in the action, but that is something I have never done.

Thanks Joe.
