When I switch from page to preview I get a message first that says items 5 and 6 on home page has overflow text and will not be published with the page.
These two items are text boxes and show up on the preview page and look normal to me. I cannot see where the problem might be. It would seem that “overflow” would mean out of the margins of the web page. But they do not look out of the margins.

Usually it means there’s too much content in the box. Could you have
some blank lines of text in there?

A quick way to check this is to select item 5 or 6 and hit Apple-Shift-
D (fit box to content). Also, if it’s an HTML box overflowed, it’ll
have a little cross in the bottom right corner.
