Is there a way to keep a line of text (html layer item) centered with in a graphic frame (layered gif)?

The easiest way I know is to make the graphic a background of the html box and then centre the html text

kind regards max

In FW4 Pro you add a background to an html item with a CSS style. Simply create a style that has an image background, along with centering for the text, then apply that style to your html box.

In FW5 Pro it’s even easier as it is now an option in the inspector pallet.

thanks Chuckamuck! I can’t wait for 5 to come out. I’m waiting for this to create a fading slideshow.

I think I’m doing something wrong here. I can’t seem to get a graphic into the html box when I apply the style. Could you tell me what I’m doing wrong? I’ve created the style with the graphic and text for the html box. Then draw a html box and apply the style. nothing help please?

I know this is a dumb question, but did you preview? You won’t see the graphic background in the layout mode.
