Text Web Browser?

What text web browser do you use to check out the SEO of the websites you design? I tried installing Lynx but I couldn’t get the installer to work.

To see what text is available for search engines, I mostly use Safari’s
Developer tools to view pages without styles or images. Firefox also has a
nice set of developer tools for this too. To get a sense of the page
semantics - the hierarchy or organization of that text, I rely on tools
like the Semantic Data Extractor

+1.

Safari Developer Menu switch of styles. Does your site read well and make sense?

You can do the same in Freeway > Preview > Toggle Accessibility drop down.
