The Widget Tweet Button

Hi guys,

stumbled upon a strange issue on my lil german forum which is the only place I have the tweet button applied. It occurred on each page loading an unobtrusive download of a file called:

“widgets_tweet_button.html.torrent”

My first thoughts: “Damn - they got you” but this morning I recognized this:

Pfhuuhh - so it seems to be more global.

The most secure way, and that’s what I did, is to deactivate the Twitter stuff 'til for the moment. And please don’t open it.

It strengthens my view on socialites:

Annoying, useless, dangerous, superfluous … (if I am allowed to add this personal note :slight_smile:

Anyone else recognized?

Hmm - the good thing is now, that I know the reason I can “test” it and fire it in/out if required.

So i’ll put it in right now and report back what happens (or not).
