Thoughts on accordion actions

In attempting to set up an accordion action with ‘side-by-side’ triggers, I’m having difficulty getting the corresponding content to work correctly. I’m sure it has something to do with the HTML box settings to occupy the same space and only showing the correct content.

I found the RoundCorner link as a good example of what I’m trying to do with accordions.

Thanks

To successfully target accordion, you need to be aware of creating a small inflow construction. This does make sense cause it’s the only way to push content below your additional infos down. Sort said: It’s a parent/child relation and following Walter’s description, the trigger (such as the image) and the additional content (such as a regular DIV) requires a wrapper the action applied to.

PS: For all interested in the original shared example, here we go:

Obviously based on jQuery, I don’t see for this specific thing a chance to create it natively in Freeway.

Allow me to add another note here.

####The lesson is called UX

Is it obvious (enough), that there is “more” content behind each person to be expected?
For us perhaps?
But an average mortal user has to figure this out. He has to try, that a click behind a hover adds further stuff. Trying means some do - others not. A user may miss important information - that’s what I’d call bad UX.

So a “plus” trigger or a magnifying glass as a symbol for call-to-action might be something more obvious (perhaps).

Cheers

Thomas
