I’m following the help, but can’t get this to work.
As I understand it I should be able to have and html item change in width as the web page changes.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Seems simple enough.
thanks
Have a link to a page we can look at? What instructions are you
following? Link?

At this point I am only “previewing in browser”
I have a HTML item with some text in it.
In the help menu along with graphic illustrations
These are the directions I’m following.
To make the width of a non-layer HTML item flexible
Click the output settings icon at the top of the Inspector palette to display the item output settings.
Select Width Can Grow:
When the page is output, the HTML item will expand in proportion to the width of the browser window.
thanks
Do you have your page set to Align: none? Or do you have it centered
or aligned right or left? The width can grow trick only works if you
don’t align the page. Otherwise, in order to center the page you have
to give it a width, and thus the box will always be the same size (xx
% of xxx pixels wide).
