Never used Traffic Travis - it appears to be PC only.
It may be that what it is actually telling you is that your Header
‘Specializing in advertising wraps of every shape and kind’
Is too long to be correctly assigned with an H1
I would chop that down to
Specializing in advertising wraps
and try it again.

And BTW - you should avoid using anything but alphanumerics in your file/page names (apart from _underscores and - hyphens) you have some commas in there.

Some servers/browsers will trip up over them.

Notice my h1 text is actually a part of my page layout. Should the h1 text be masked or hidden in some manner?

Traffic Travis is indeed just for the evil PC but I can not find anything as powerful in the Mac platform.

SEO can be a bit snake oil in places. The H1 text seems fine to me - remember the software you use (and, indeed, any SEO analysis software) is ultimately guessing what the search engines are looking for, and are the products of opinion not established fact.
I find www.woorank.com to be helpful at times as well.
Certainly don’t hide or mask any content - your site should be blacklisted for doing so.

My suggestion of cutting the header down to 4 words was purely so that you could test it in TT to see if the error still existed.
This error does seem a bit ambiguous to me.

Dave, it seems ambiguous to me as well. Do you ever limited your H1 text to 8 words?
On my current site, my index page H1 text is 20+ words and we are scoring #1 organically on Google.

Hi,
I think that everything is in the eye of the spectator but I once wrapped my thoughts (in order to make a screencast about styles, fonts …) in that simple graphic to share my thoughts.
I may fail - but that’s the basic direction I use to make webdesign.
Does this make sense?
Cheers

Not specifically - but then I don’t use Traffic Travis either!
