With the CSS button on, I’m making multiple box models on one page to hold book information. I’ll call the main box of each model the wrapper. Inside each wrapper is five html boxes. The leftmost box holds a graphic of the book’s cover which is linked to the book’s main page. To the top right of that is a box with the title and author. Below that is a box with a short description. Below that are two boxes side by side with markup items which show up as Add To Cart and View Cart buttons. So, four boxes stacked to the right of the box holding the graphic, and all within the main wrapper.
The trouble is, when viewed in a browser, if I hover over the graphic, the link is dead (the cursor doesn’t change) for the height of the text in the Title and Description boxes to the right. The link is only active below the text line. The boxes holding the markup items are not causing any trouble. If I turn off CSS in the Inspector for each of the html boxes, then it looks and works as it should. But I shouldn’t have to do that, should I?
I’m wondering why this is happening.
Thanks for helping.
