Trouble with text

Hi All

Just started doing our company website and seem to be having trouble with the most basic things. For instance I have put three linked HTML text boxes on the page, with Verdana text in them. When the page in Firefox the text is reflowed different to Safari.

I thought HTML text was meant to be fairly uniform in browers. :frowning:

Nope - and even worse across different OS. There are things you can do to help though. Use px text sizing instead of % and small/medium (relative sizing).

Remember that the linked text box tool in FW does not mean that text will flow from one to the other on the Web. It is only a convenience for layout. At the point of publish those boxes become static.

why not put the text in a graphic box and control it that way?

Thanks all, have found workaraounds. Did have it as graphic text Ann, but as it is the main body copy wanted it as HTML.
