Trying to Learn How to Position Text

Prior to my select arrow freezing up, I had another problem as well.

I am trying to precisely position header text in a header table, and first of all, I only seem to position it according to a few limited categories (can’t find a precise drag and drop option).

My second problem is, even within the limited “align” positioning options, it doesn’t matter how it shows on my screen, when I “preview” it then jumps to the very top edge (or if I disable top-alignment, it then drops too low for a header).

Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you using the ‘Inspector’? Click on the ‘i’ in the upper right hand corner of the window.

You can adjust your positioning and box sizes by using the numerical values in the first option tab.

This can (inspector) also give you the clue of where your working (on what object) in freeway.

Hope that helps, I know it gets pretty quite around here in these hours…
