Tumblr

Has anyone heard of or had any experience with TUMBLR (http://www.tumblr.com). The site claims that the Tumblr API is implemented over standard HTTP requests. This allows Tumblr to be integrated with just about any application that can connect to the web. Can it be integrated fairly easily into Freeway? One can find some code here: http://www.tumblr.com/api

Copy that code > create a Freeway test page > create a HTML box and click into it > insert HTML markup > paste in the code.

Upload and view the result

Hi David,

I am a bit lost. Which specific code should I paste into the HTML markup? Can you simply provide me with the code you are talking about?

Thanks.

Peter,

Sorry, looking deeper, its not just a simple task of putting in the code “as is”. Looking ‘very’ quickly for a start you need a Tumblr account and password to withdraw data from and combine with that code.

For example this link - I chose any for example http://benny.tumblr.com/api/read (I was lucky) and this brings in what looks like date from his posts. there also a demo link on the page.

So unless you’re comfortable sorting code - you’ve got a bit of work to sort it out.
