I have a site: http://www.mooredelights.com (second page) in which the type is different when on the web. Some is in a table some is not. I have tried different type to no avail. Also italic has turned into regular text.

I gave up for now and made everything Times but want to change it to another type face when we can figure out the problem.

Have you used the Text Style Inspector to see if there’s a style being applied at another level (page, item) that’s overriding the text style on output?

What you should have done is create a “body” tag in your styles palette. It’s the entry box to the left of the style’s name and to the right of the styles list, just call it “body” (without quotes) and then set your default font…so put what font you want and then select the font size, color, alignment, etc (no leading, put that in the p tag). Then go into your other styles and delete the font type only if it matches the font set in your “body” tag, also delete any colors, alignment, sizes, etc…if they match your “body” tag.
By doing so, a body tag by HTML standards, is a given web-tag that by default sets the font styles for all pages including size, color, etc.
Try that and see if that works.
