Underline problem

I have been working on a site and have come to a glitch - very simple solution but I can not see it.

I have a list of links on a page - I did - remove style then add a style (pre designed one) - one set of lines left but left one behind.

and there still is lines underneath the words. Now funny thing, I do not see them. But my client does. So I am really clueless how to fix this.

any solutions?

Thanks

Julie

I have it protected dt a learning curve w another one - the temp site ranked well in google searches above the real site LOL.

so Per Walters wize advice -we will not have an unprotected temp site again LOL

Julie,

I don’t know if this is the problem or not, but long ago I had a similar issue and a post from Michael helped me out:

The problem may come from this: the little “U” buttons in the “Links” part of the inspector pane have three possible states:

if the button is grey, the link is sure to be underlined

if the button is white, the choice of whether the link is underlined or not is left to the browser.

if the button is light grey, it is sure that the link will NOT be underlined.

It can be difficult to distinguish between the “light grey” state and the “white” state. I keep hoping it will be more clear as FreeWay kicks out upgrades, but so far it works the same as far as I can tell.

If your client is seeing something you are not, my suspicion is you might be dealing with the middle “white” option outlined above. Personally, I’ve never come up with a good reason to ever utilize this option. Aren’t we pretty clear what we want when we design a page? Why would we want to relegate that control over to the browser? Anyway, that is my own curiosity.

I hope this email is of some help to you.
Doty

They are all underlined to me

You have this style attribute attached to all of these

<span class="body" style="text-decoration:underline">Happier News for Those Suffering From SAD</span>

When you should have: text-decoration:none

Did you use an action to add this - if so you may have underline selected by mistake
