Transition FX could make this for you, pretty simply.

Hi, its Nick again.

Walter suggested Transition FX for a project I’m working on.

I’m quitw new to this, so can anyone let me know where I can obtain this and can I get any kind of working guide to assist me.

many thanks Nick

Hi Nick

Transition FX is a core action in FW5.5 Pro - you don’t say what version you have.

A quick example page http://www.deltadesign.co/fw_examples/fwactions/fx-slideup.html

It’s built in to version 5 and up of Freeway, maybe earlier. Click on the object you want to be the trigger, and apply the Action. If you are affecting the same element, then just choose your effect, otherwise choose the element you want to be affected from the picker of other elements on the same page.

Hi it’s Nick again,

I have just got back to using Transition FX on a site I’m building and still cannot get to grips with the action.
I’m using FW 5 but still can’t get the text to drop by clicking a button and go up by using another button.

I started with my HTML text box sitting above a plain coloured box. Put the action on the Pic box as mentioned in Davids demo, the text slides up to that one setting but then nothing happens.

Is this a matter of using multi layers ie one text block for up another for down and others for + and - buttons.

I apologise for being so dense, it’s no doubt something quite simple that I’m doing wrong.

Can anyone help.

many thanks

And are you supporting the ActionsForge Next campaign? http://kck.st/K3vJVi

What was the thing that you missed?
