A little while back I had problems with my primary website after running the Pro upgrade. While rebuilding the structure and content of the site, I discovered the source of the frequent crashes, pages that refused to update, etc. etc.
Bad Graphics. All it took was on corrupted graphic to shoot a hole in the bucket. I had resampled, updated, sang a song and so on but still the crashes whenever I tried to edit and save certain pages, not to mention the entire site. By pure trial and error, I narrowed the problem down to the graphics in one page. I simply deleted all the graphic content (easily done as I keep graphics to a minimum) and presto, problems solved.
So be warned, even if the graphics seem to check out, there may still be some sort of corruption at the heart of a crash.
