# Upload not working

Hello,

After 2 days of effort I’ve given up trying to get Upload in Xway to work. I’ve spent plenty of time with hosting support and that hasn’t worked. Does anyone know the best and easiest alternative way to upload a site?

Hi Duncan,

If you send us a log of your attempted uploads, we may be able to help!

Open the **Uploads** window in Xway (Window \> Uploads) and click on the **Export Logs** button. Send the file to support at softpress dot com.

If you’d like to use a third-party upload client, such as Cyberduck or Transmit, you can export your site by choosing **Export Site** from the **File** menu. Then use a synchronise command in the third-party client to synchronise the exported site with your online site. Don’t try to upload files manually, because your site won’t work properly if you don’t upload every changed file.
