I’ve been having some problems with uploading stuff with my sites –
using the Upload Stuff 1.1 action from Tim Plumb. It’s a great action
and absolutely indispensable – just that it sometimes doesn’t seem to
want to upload my files. Am I using an outdated version or is there an
issue with it I’ve missed somewhere? Perhaps it’s just my setup?
Hi Ernie,
What problems are you having exactly? Is it all files or just those with a certain file type? The action is so simple that it should “just work” (although I would say that!). If you can send me a sample file that fails or pin down what in the workflow falls apart I can start to address the issue.
The only thing I can think of off of the top of my head is that the actions API won’t let you attach a file that begins with a period to a control (the OS considers these invisible) so unfortunately uploading a .htaccess is out of the question.
