When I upload my pages it loads everytime the same thing up although the whole ressources are already there. This is very irritating especially when I work with movies because it takes a lot of time. How can this be solved?

No ideas? I thought it matches the resources?

Hi Tom,

unfortunately I have indeed no idea cause I would classify this as a “well known and common problem”.

It sounds a little bit annoying but as much as I can I avoid any actions and prefer the hard manual way (a statement that I never planned to post or to share honestly). Therefor it shouldn’t be read as an advice or solution - just a sidestep.

Cheers

Thomas

1st thing to check is that you have the latest FW and actions - this was largely resolved a while ago with some updates.

Also there are some actions that ‘dirty’ every page and require a fresh upload for their functionality.

Issues with server/computer date/time management can also cause problems - if FW thinks that the files on the server have a different datestamp than those held locally an upload will be required. Is your Mac’s clock/pram battery OK?

There are quite a few issues that can cause this. An email to support(at)[spftpress.com](http://spftpress.com) might be a good idea. They will probably want your FW file.

Thomas, David thanks.
I will check all actions - this could be a reason. Usually I check a-forge nearly every week but maybe I missed one…

Check Freeway first – this core mis-functionality is in the application, the Actions just exacerbate it.

He simply means are you running the latest version of FW that you can.

While Freeway is running, pull down the application menu (Freeway 5.5 Pro in the main menu) to “Check for updates”. See what the Sparkle server has to say about things.
