Is anybody using Freeway in some capacity to generate Visualforce code for Salesforce.com.

Never heard of it until you mentioned it, but the overview at
Salesforce.com seems to indicate that it’s based on HTML and Ajax, and
there’s plenty of that being done with Freeway. As with anything
requiring a foray into a programming language, I recommend that you
try out the demo or tutorial first with a text editor, see how the
logic works and how the templating system is meant to run. Then look
at that from a distance and see where Freeway could fit in. Freeway
with some Actions can generate template parts that can be assembled
later by a programming framework. I build lots of sites that way.
