Dear Alex, I’m not expert web designer but I’m learning very much from this forum. They talked about web sites for smart phones other time. You can see the post:
http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/12316#m_13064 and maybe others too. You can look for: smatphones, PDA etc. in this forum.
I’m enteresting on this subject too.

Only a little thing, not interesting: in that post I annouced a link to my little examples but the address is changed in

Fernando,

you advise HTML 3.2: this is not a good idea for mobile phones. HTML 3.2 is an old, sloppy language and mobile phone browsers are not built to correct the sort of muddle that can appear in HTML 3.2 pages. Mobile phone browsers understand XHTML, which is a much more strictly structured language. See for example here:

Thank you very much to Michael and Alex. I sent this message in the wrong place, it was an answear to Alex in another post. Looking for old post in the forum I sent this here in the wrong place.
I’m sure Michael is wright. He is an expert for me, I read him very carefully by long time. I’ll follow he’s suggestions to write in XHTML.

My idea when I wrote my examples, was only to be the simplest as possible building a PAD web site, but I don’t know well the difference between HTML 3.2 and XHTML. I’m learning it now. I thought the first was simple (for PAD too) and the second more difficult to read in browser phone, but was only an idea. I’m happy to learn more every time

Thank you very much to all the forum, very usefull not only for experts but for beginners as me
(excuse me for bad English)
