I got an email saying my freeway users webring group membership expired -

does anyone else belong to this? and is it worth the time and energy (and possible money)??

Never heard of it and looking at the getting started page on the site it hasn’t been updated since 2007

personally I wouldn’t be giving it any money

Thank you - that is what I thought … especially since I got an email
saying my membership was cancelled and I never signed up for it.

Sounds odd. Anyway, a couple of points here: that webring service has
been around for a very long time (it still looks like it did back
in the 1990s!), and it doesn’t charge users.

Julie, I doubt that was a scam attempt, but I wouldn’t bother with it anyway.
