WebYep and forms

Hello

I’m going to be working on a website with a simple form. I’ve contacted the ISP and they are happy to set up the appropriate script on their server to process the form so that the information is emailed to the client.

However…

I mentioned that the website would be using the WebYep CMS. They said that this might create problems with the form.

Is this true?

Thank you

Mark

Hi Mark
Not that I have ever heard of…
why do they feel it may course problems?
I have used webyep and forms on the same page… I have even used webyep within the form itself to change the form content and I havent had a problem.
So it may be something you need to ask them… as I haven’t heard of it before

Hi Max

That’s a relief. I think the ISP hasn’t heard of WebYep and might have been concerned that the PHP of WebYep might conflict with the PHP script to process the form…

I think they were trying to get me to use WordPress, but I can’t code, so this is no use to me.

Cheers

Why get them to set up a script when FW makes it easy to do it for yourself.

Hello David

Thanks for the links. This looks like it should be reasonably straight forward.
