how can ypu check the space which is needed for the Freeway
webdesign? It looks like that the level of used MB’s written behind
the Freeway stored document in Finder isn’t all, is that corrcect?

A web site is the sum of its parts. Sounds trite, but this is a good
way to think about it. The Freeway document isn’t actually the final
site - what gets published is. And that will include web-optimised
graphics that may be placed into the pages. Those won’t be fully
accounted for in the Freeway document’s size. (Okay, there are
wrinkles to this, but let’s not over-complicate things!)

The simple way to find out how much space your actual
Freeway-generated site will need is to select the Site folder, where
Freeway churns out the HTML files and so on, and check the Get Info
window for that. The size of that folder is the size of your site.

Now, space on web servers really shouldn’t be a premium thing these
days. My hosting account includes unlimited disk space and unlimited
bandwidth. (And yes, the performance is good too.) If you’re
seriously constrained then try asking your hosting company to give
you more space. If you’re on a dirt-cheap plan then be ready to pay a
bit more, but if the cost isn’t really bottom-end and you know there
aren’t huge files kicking around somewhere then push for a better
deal or go elsewhere.

Hello k,

Thank for the answer, I did not receive the updated email from ListBot from some unknown reason.
Otherwise i would have react earlier, sorry.

However, the CMS itself has been uploaded to the website, finally.
Still not a possitive result with the actions for Freeway unfortunately.

Can I after buying just drag the two WebYep-Actions.fwactionb and WebYep-Extras.fwactionb files into the Freeway folder? Or do you mean the application symbol?
Isn’t there a kind of movie of this programm available, like there is to show how easy it is to use? Without such a video I will never understand I am affraid.

Kind regards,

Publish Relations,
Richard

Hello again,

I see that I need to be more specific, as always I can’t find it, the two WebYep-Actions.fwactionb and WebYep-Extras.fwactionb files.
I have bought the action, uploaded webyep installer 1.4.4, downloaded the folder webyep 1.4.4 as well.

Unfortunalety I still can’t find the actions… I am close I think, almost there.

Kind Regards,

If your purchased the WebYep actions from Max separately (which is the only way to get them) you should have received a confirming email from him with links to the action to download.

Hello,

Thanks for this replay. Yes I have received them and they are visable in my finder now.
Now I see that I can also open the webfolder. That is so typically me, look over that 1000 times. Sorry.
Can I just drag these two files into the Freeway application symbil in the Finder?

Kind regards,

Even simpler, just double click on the actions you want to install and Freeway will install them where they need to go.

Hi Richard you set the name and password in the config-inc.php which is inside the webyep system folder. You can open it up using a text editor

the lines you are looking for are on line 21 and 22 and should say this as standard:

$webyep_sAdminName = "admin";
$webyep_sAdminPassword = "";

all the best max

Hi Max,

Many thanks for this feedback, it has worked, I have it up and running now. Fantastic. I can even log in now. To all the ones who have responded on my sometimes stupid questions, many thanks for this support. Without all your help I would not have solved the problems. It is a great tool to use now it is working. Fortunately I have now only to upload the sytem for a new website.

Max, you’ve got yourself a new customer

Kindly regards,

Richard from Publish Relations
