My question is, and has ramifications as to my design, layout & functionality so I need to get these details correct from the start.
As you can see my item pages that sell (individual items) has a target image action associated with the thumbnails, if I build this using webyep.
I have used a box layout, can I place webyep item inline? Or do they float om top?
Can webyep be integrated with actions such as taget image, scriptylightbox and so on.
If nnot what would you advise to be a possibly work around or best solution? Otherwise I am going to have to offer my services to continually update the sites new items on a weekly basis which is going to prove very testing and inconvienant in the long run! Any pointers would be great.
Thanks for your time, and any other advise is very welcommed!
WebYep has issues (or had, I haven’t checked in a while) with anything
that loads Prototype.js. This includes all of my Scripty Actions, as
well as the built-in Freeway FX Actions. The specific problem is that
WY brings its own version of Prototype into the page, and it’s an old-
ish version, and it loads after Prototype and Script.aculo.us have
been loaded, which causes some serious problems in Script.aculo.us as
well as anything else which may have extended Prototype.js.

Hi Worm
there are a couple of problems I can see one is there is an problem with some of the scripty actions but not all of them
and two you are using mals shopping cart which cant be populated via webyep elements
As far as inline… yes webyep can be used as inline items and yes you can use other actions like show hide layer on a webyep item all you would need to do is use a standard freeway html box/div and apply your show hide layer and then apply your desired webyep item.
on publish freeway will swop the contents of the div and replace it with webyep specific code
As a user of WebYep, I can confirm what Max states. The following page uses both ScriptyAccordion (for menu) and WebYep in Target Show/Hide panels (for dealer details).

coming from the french Freeway forum, i’m an happy WebYeb user too… but :
I made a Freeway page with the show/hide action and WebYep in it.
I have 4 graphic items to which both actions are applied and 4 slave items with rollover and WY action.
It does’nt work if the show/hide action is set to “initially hidden”.
I even cannot see the webYeb image icon when logged on.
It works if the show hide action is set to “initially visible”.
Hi Alain more than likely the answer is yes but as I mentioned webyep only conflicts with a few of the scripty effects so if you have an example that isn’t working when you have added any webyep elements then send me the artwork and I will have a look at trying to work around the problem
