Webyep, Scroll Layer & wrapping text

I have created scrolling text box using the scroll layer action. The text being used is generated by a Long Text Box Webyap action. I have reached the point where I can get the text to show, the text to scroll. When I insert text using the webyep system it will not wrap the text that is longer than the specific box that I have made. I want it to automatically wrap.

Here is the URL…

www.oceaneyesdesign.com/suubi

Notice in the text that there is a long line of the letter “f”. This is followed by a long line of the letter “g”. It is all one line. no returns. no spaces.

Why can’t I get the thing to drop to the next line automatically. Is there a way to do this. Any information or ideas would be greatly appreaciated. In the mean time I will continue to search the forum as well as the freeway manual.

With the new search I am having a hard time finding anything on this. For that matter I usually have a hard time finding things due to my lack of knowedge in regards to terms. Anyhow thanks for any time that you spend on this question.

Blessings
Shaul

Can I apply a CSS style to either the HTML box with the scroll layer action, the HTML box with the Scroll Layer content, or the Long text Box Webyep box or all of the boxes combined.

Would this be a possible workaround?

Hi Shaul
ok had a look on what you are trying to do.
1st the styles was easy and straight forward
the second part about text being cut off well that isn’t
it just wont work properly … whats really odd is it does wrap the text but it’s misses a massive junk about 60px - 80px
so I thought ok I will add a massive pad and then it did work! well sort of have a look at the screen shot I sent you unfortunatly after that couldn’t adjust it back!!!

Why the scroll layer/scroll content does this with inline webyep Items I just dont know but it is an incompatibility somewhere.
I might be able to add padding to a style sheet and apply it in a rich-text item but its the wrong way around… (bit of a bodge)
you may want to contact Softpress as I think its one of there actions and see if they know of this problem? or if you want I can write a small report on my findings.
Softpress may have an idea why this is happening

After doing some further test I found something that was a litle weird. For testing purposes I was just typing random letters and not using spaces, periods, etc. When leter putting in legit sentences I found that the text wrapping was in fact working. Why this is I do not know. Thought I should post thoug just to let people know what I learned although I am not sure why the wrapping is working properly now. Thanks for all the time anybody has spent on this particular thread.
