I’m getting strange behavior with the OpenType font Unit Rounded Bold. It shifts way down the page, causing its text box to expand vertically. I have tried reshifting the text via the Style menu, but it doesn’t solve the issue.
FontBook is telling me that the font is fine, and there has never been a problem with this until now (my site is several years old), plus, other OT fonts are behaving normally.
Did you just update to the latest 10.6.7? There have been some issues
with OT fonts and Snow Leopard, with some people having to revert to
10.6.6 to work around them. But I thought that the issue there wasn’t
font geometry – it was more like the font couldn’t be used at all.

Yes, I did update to 10.6.7. I guess I’ll work around it as best I can for now, which means using giffed html text and foregoing the alt text. Not a huge deal, and I imagine Apple will fix this soonish
