Weird Rollovers......

Hello all,

I’m having strange issues with the rollover and target show/ hide layer actions.

Here is my page:

I have only set up two rollovers here - the Small Playspace icon on the Medium Playspace icon. Rollovers are both set to click, not mouseover. If you click the Small Playspace icon you see the html box but with no image, and if you scroll down you see some text - the wrong text.

Clicking on the Medium Playspace icon does show the correct image but the wrong text to the right hand side. Scrolling down finds the correct text.

Clicking back on the small playspace icon doesn’t change anything.

What I wanted to do was have the small playground info to display on the page when first entered, then clicking on one of the other design options would bring up the relevant info, but for it to stay displayed until another choice is made, so there will always be content on the page - not how i have it now. Is this approach the best way to do this??

The way I would do this is to set up a base layer that has your default image and text in it that has no action applied to it - it will be there all the time.

On top of that you create your separate layers for your additional content which will appear over the top of the base layer.

At the moment you appear to have layers within layers and the action applied to both inner and outer containers.

Create your layers on the pasteboard to avoid this and then stack them on the page where they are to appear once they are ready.

This page uses this method http://www.deltadesign.co/fw_examples/folds.html using rollover rather than Click but the principle is the same.
