What the heck?

Yay! That’s fixed it. Cut the load time in half or less for me, too.

Walter - I was using v0.3 of the action. I turned the spinner off because

Updated with 0.3.2 - http://industrialmarketing.com.au/drillrigs.html

I’m not unhappy with the apparent load time (for me). I applied the action
because the number of items has recently grown way past what the clients
estimated it would ever be. Because all my thumbs are actually full size
pass-thru (800 x 600) I of course grew nervous.

I just pushed an update to fix this. The issue was that if you didn’t
choose to show the spinner, the placeholder in the script where the path to
that spinner would go wasn’t removed. BTW, I haven’t marked this as good
for 6 yet, because there’s a few things I have been doing to all of my 6
Actions that I didn’t take the time to do here. Just patched that one bug.
Ernie, you may want to check to see if your page still performs the same
way now.

Sorry Walter. I don’t have a link to show you. I was working on a live

Awesome, I may try this again too!

Ernie, did I hear that you’re actually using an action?

The window screen effect on the main wide image? That’s not photoshop

The main image is a background image that uses the background-size property
to scale with the browser window. I use elements in front to create a
“window” that has a patterned png to cover it. So the main image is free to
resize while the pattern remains the same
