When good browsers go bad -- and they all do

“…the latest version of Microsoft’s browser, Internet Explorer 8, will operate strictly in standards-compliant mode by default.”

We can only hope, right?

From your subject heading, I was imagining something more about thrift shoppers running amuck…

…I could make a Windows comment here, but I will restrain the impulse…

I am new to Freeway and will appreciate all the help anyone is willing to give me. I will be attempting to build a website for my high school. Any help in getting started with freeway will certainly be welcome.

Hi Clark

Welcome to FreewayTalk - don’t be afraid to ask a question here, no matter how dumb you think it will make you look. We all started that way - with the exception of Walter probably!

If/when you ask a question here remember that if you can post a link to an uploaded page for us to see it will greatly help with diagnosis of problems because we will be able to read the code.

If in your FW document you set the File>Document Setup>Output> HTML code: More Readable - that will also help.

When posting a link here use the full link ie (without the < and> that are shown on the web forum)

http://www.yoursite.com/yourpage.html

This will make it a clickable link

David
