Which one to buy

Sorry if this is wrong place but I am trying to decide which version to purchase. Freeway pro or Freeway express. I have made 5 websites all on different platforms. My fav was blue voda but now I have a mac. I am about to design a website for a paying client but I have a small budget so I need to know which one. I love to design my own look, hate not being able to customise templates to my taste. Image rich and content focused type websites, with some contact forms and maybe a shopping cart but that is not priority. My budget will grow if I can do a good job on this clients website.

Both are great apps, but Pro is the real deal, go for it.

What do you get with Pro that you don’t with express?

Many things but the best is lots of actions, go to freeway web and
see both.

A more professional product that is extendable through the use of actions.

You owe it to your paying client to give them a more professional result - the first job will likely not pay for your investment but over time you will benefit - as will your customers.

You will build better, more fully featured sites quicker with Pro and the time savings will show.

There used to be a feature comparison page on the Softpress site but I can’t find it.

The main features are listed at the bottom of the relevant pages ie Express http://www.softpress.com/products/freeway-express.html or Pro http://www.softpress.com/products/freeway-pro.html but this is not extensive.

“Freeway Pro offers more tools than Express: color and style management, text and image manipulation, graphics import and editing, more layout options, and a greater choice of actions (as well as the capacity to build and edit your own actions). It offers more function: evaluating accessibility, choosing output and coding options, and editing CSS styles and layouts more capably. If you want or need to have total control over the outcome of your Web site development, Freeway Pro is a must-have option for you.”
