I have a page all set up, wallpaper, images and text. I would like to add a white html or graphic box the entire length of the page and “send it back”. When I do this I get a multitude of misc lines that allows the wallpaper to show through around some of the text and images.
Is there anyway to correct this? or do I need to upgrade to Pro and do css layers?
Thanks for your help.
One method would be to create a bg image (wallpaper) that had the image either side of a white (or transparent) section the width of your page. In PShop or similar.
You would need to set the alignment of your page to centre.
I am unable to post my page online yet. Can you recommend a FTP client. I tried Cyberduck but when I clicked on the download my Big Bang Board Games program opened up. Tried it three times. Silly computers. Another thing I noticed is that Firefox and SeaMonkey both displayed the misc. lines, Safari did not. Unable to test it in IE.
I am going to reformat the wallpaper with the white space included. I was hoping I could move it (the white space) a bit for different pages but I’m going to give it a try and see how it looks.
Thanks for the advise.
Remember that if you are create a background graphic and set it to Horizontal:center and Vertical:Tile then you will only need an image 50px high (or maybe less depending on your pattern)
This will keep your image file size smaller for a faster page load.

What is wrong with FW’s own Upload facility?

Try right clicking the download link and choose ‘Download Linked File’
