Why is this happening

Every time I make an adjustment to a single page and save it, When I then up load it, Freeway 5 Pro now rebuilds every page to upload, I an sure that it previously only uploaded the changed pages.

Is this normal or have I alter a setting some where

Have you set your document to use External Style Sheets by any chance?
If the change you make to that “single” page affects a style you have
set (and used) globally, then all of the child pages will become dirty.

I take it that you mean have I adjusted a master page and all the following pages follow suit? I would understand that to happen if I did.

But no I have just been altering normal pages

Well, that’s a good analogy, but not exactly what I meant. In the
Document Setup dialog, there’s a preference which allows you to move
all of the text styles into a separate external CSS document. By
default, one such stylesheet covers the entire site. So if you make a
change on a child page somewhere which redefines a global text style,
then the one and only style sheet will change. Since all of the other
pages in your site reference that sheet, they too become dirty.

When you say a child page, I take it you mean a normal page other than a Master Page?

I also take it that if I change a style of text on a normal page that is created from a master template page. this will have an affect on other pages? or just the style sheet?

How will I know if that is what I have done?

First, look in your Document Setup. On the Output pane, see if the
External stylesheets checkbox is checked or not. If it is, then it’s
possible that this is what’s happening.

If it’s not, then we’ll have to look elsewhere. Actions are another
notable culprit in this area. Are you using any?

It is not checked.

But for some reason the last upload of a test page did not create a rebuild of the whole site for some reason.

On the Actions front, there are some being used on pages I have not altered. But I have been playing around with a test page trying to play with Mootools.

Which is playing me up a little
