World/Country Maps

One of you kind people had at one time posted links to several free
map resources for various countries and the world, however I can no
longer find that email (a casualty of too many moves). I need to
create a regional rollover map so if anyone would be nice enough to
post those resources again I would be grateful. Also, links to any
examples of such maps that you find especially well executed are
welcome whether html, Flash or js based.

Thanks Roger, that’s nice…and fun. What I need are some simple flat-
earth graphics that I can use with map areas to trigger pop-ups by
country. I’ve found some maps but the ones that are free to use just
aren’t that nice-looking. Someone here had posted links to some well-
made and free maps which I still can’t find.

Hi Roger, i found a nice map ( us and europe netherlands ) on flashden called Interactive Map.
Hope you find what you look for
