YouTube HD

I have added an HD YouTube video to http://www.dairydiary.co.uk

Can anyone tell me how to force the video to play in HD.

I have added ?hd=1 to the embed code without success.

I think the code has changed to specify resolution.

Try one of these:

Code for 1080: vq=hd1080;
Code for 720: vq=hd720;
Code for 480p: vq=large;
Code for 360p: vq=medium;
Code for 240p: vq=small;

Brilliant. Thanks David.

Why is it so difficult to find this info online?

More to the point, why does YouTube not continue to support the more
basic hd=1 option? Breaking countless existing video embeds (even in
this soft manner) is really bad form. Especially when it would be simple
to map that to, say, the 720p scale.

[sigh] Billionaire tech idiots…
