A FW file has gone bad

I have a serious problem with a file that I’ve been working on for some
months, tweaking and improving.

I’ve got to version 17 of the file, when I open the file on a MBP in FW
[5.4.2] it immediately crashes, I can open the file on a MacPro and save the
file fine.

The MBP can open an older version 14 and edit, but on the finish of a save
it crashes.

Both Macs are intel [a MBP and MacPro] latest patched-up-to-date Snow
Leopard.

Other FW files I have seem fine at least a few I’ve checked.

I tried copying the file into an account on the MBP that had no additional
fonts installed then installed the only additional font I needed for the job
and could still make FW crash.

If necessary, I have copied & saved the Crash Report, if someone at SP
Towers could scan through it in the hope of diagnosing the problem?

Did you try contacting support about this? They usually can use some magic to diagnose your problem.
